November Impact Highlights: Bringing Reality U to New Mexico & Serving Our Community
This November marked a major milestone for Vision of Love as we successfully introduced the Reality U financial literacy simulation to New Mexico for the very first time—right here in our city. We had the honor of partnering with Las Vegas City Schools and West Las Vegas Schools to deliver this transformative two-day experience to local students.
Over the course of the event:
500+ students actively participated in the simulation
15+ administrators, teachers, and staff supported the implementation
25+ community volunteers dedicated their time to guide students through real-world financial decision-making
We are proud to share that Reality U was met with tremendous enthusiasm from both students and educators. This program has already begun sparking important conversations about financial responsibility, career planning, and life readiness—conversations that will shape the next generation of leaders in New Mexico.
But our commitment to the community didn’t end there.
In partnership with Rollin Love, La Izla El Coqui, Blended Barbershop, and The Front Wear, Vision of Love hosted our Second Annual Friendsgiving Event, providing free Thanksgiving meals to more than 450 families. Through the collective generosity of our partners and volunteers, we were able to ensure that families in our area could share a warm, nourishing holiday meal together.
Together, we are expanding opportunity, strengthening community, and making a real impact. Vision of Love is grateful for every volunteer, partner, and supporter who made this month of service possible. We look forward to continuing this momentum into the new year as we work to uplift youth, empower families, and build a stronger New Mexico.
